Natural resources are things that come from nature (the natural environment) and are the living and nonliving components that support life on Earth. They can be classified into seven categories: plants, animals, soil, minerals, energy sources (e.g., sunlight, fossil fuels), air, and water. All products that we use every day come from Earth’s natural resources, which provide the raw material for the products that people make. For example, iron ore is the raw material in the natural resources category mineral, and people use iron ore to make steel. Steel is used to make cars, appliances, and many other products. Trees are natural resources classified as plants, and people use trees for lumber to build houses and other structures. PLANTS—Plants are living things that can produce their own food. Trees, shrubs, grasses, seaweed, and some microscopic algae are examples of plants. Green plants produce oxygen. They also produce food for animals that eat plants. ANIMALS—Most animals can be defined as living things that rely on other organisms for food. Animals have a nervous system and can usually move on their own. Examples of types of animals are: mammals (includes humans), birds, reptiles, amphibians, fish, and invertebrates, such as insects, spiders, and worms. SOIL—Soil is a mixture of minerals from weathered rock and decaying plant and animal matter. It also consists of microscopic living things, such as bacteria and fungi. Most plants that live on land need soil in which to grow, and soil provides water and nutrients to plants. Many animals live on or in soil. MINERALS—Minerals are naturally occurring substances that originally came from rock, such as phosphorous, bauxite, iron, salt, gold, silver, copper, and potassium. Many minerals are essential for the healthy growth of plants and animals, and plants absorb minerals that are dissolved in water. Animals must obtain needed minerals by eating plants or by eating other animals that have eaten plants. AIR—Animals need oxygen in the air to breathe, and plants use carbon dioxide in the air in the process of photosynthesis. The gases are recycled through plants and animals. WATER—Plants use water when manufacturing their food, and animals drink or absorb water to maintain bodily functions. Some animals live in water, and some use it as a place from which to get food, to seek protection, or to cool off. Now is your chance to find out! You get to grow a plant from a seed! What to do: ⦁ Place your cup on a table covered with newspaper to protect the table. ⦁ Poke a hole in the bottom of the cup with a pencil. ⦁ Fill the cup almost full with soil. ⦁ Make a couple holes in the soil with your finger or pencil. ⦁ Place one or two seeds in the hole and cover them with soil. ⦁ Place plastic lid under cup, water the seeds, and place the cup in a sunny spot. ⦁ Water the soil when it looks dry. If you stick your finger one inch into the soil and it feels dry, then water your plant. When you water the plant, moisten the soil by using enough water so that it starts to come out of the hole in the bottom of the cup. ⦁ Remember that it takes time to grow and care for plants. Spain is an amazing country   and is well known for its history, locations, traditional bullfights, food, language the government, beautiful cities and beaches. 

Spain is located in southwestern Europe on the Iberia peninsula occupying 80 % of the territory which is shared with Portugal.

Spain includes the area to the east of the Balearic islands (Mallorca, Minorca Ibiza) and the south east of the Canary islands, to the south west separated by the strait of Gibraltar is Morocco where you can find the cities of Ceuta and Melilla. 

The capital of Spain is Madrid. Spain is the 3rd largest country in Europe and the 5th in population of 46 million habitants; of which the 99% are Catholics because being Catholic became a global empire.

It left a legacy of over 500 million Spanish speakers today, making it the word`s second most spoken first language; Spain has 4 different dialects which are Basque, Catalan, Valencian and Galician. 

  In Another hand Barcelona is one of the main cities of Spain. It’s the second largest city, where you can find the historic buildings and monuments, such as Sagrada Familia which is the international symbol of Barcelona. 

Speaking of Barcelona, it has beautiful beaches which are only   ten minutes from the center of the city. Barceloneta Beach, Icaria beach are known for their   surfing and snorkeling.

Secondly, the old town of Cadiz is one of the most densely populated urban areas in Spain, and is packed with narrow streets. 

The old town benefits from several striking plazas, which are enjoyed by citizens and tourist.

Millions people all over the world spend their holidays travelling. They travel to see other countries and continents, modern cities and the ruins of ancient towns, they travel to enjoy picturesque places or just for a change of scene. It's always interesting to discover new things and different ways of life, to meet different people, to try different food, to listen to different music.

 Those who live in the country like to go to a big city and spend their time visiting museums and art galleries, looking at shop windows and dining at exotic restaurants. City residents usually like a quiet holiday by the sea and in the mountains with nothing to do but walk and bathe and lay in the sun. Most travelers and holiday-makers take a camera with them and take pictures of everything that interest them - the sights of a city, old churches and castles, views of mountains, lakes, valleys, plains, waterfalls, forests, different kinds of trees, flowers and plants, animals and birds. Later, perhaps years later, they will be reminded by the photos of the happy time they had. 

People travel by train, by plane, by ship or boat and by car. All means of travel have their advantages and disadvantages. And people choose one according to their plans and preferences. The fasters way of travelling - is travelling by plane, but in my opinion the most comfortable is travelling by ship and the cheapest is travelling on foot.

If we are fond of travelling, we see and learn a lot of things that we can never see or learn at home, though we may read about them in books and newspapers and see pictures of them on TV. The best way to study geography is to travel and the best way to get to know and understand the people is to meet them in their own homes.
